May 17 The tickets for
the Patrick Henry Award Dinner honoring Martha Tarry Simpson
will go on sale April 1 for the dinner May 17. If you were her
student, please consider sending a note telling a story or how
she influenced you in your youth. Send to the Chamber at Box
355, New Castle 40050 or e-mail at

spread the word to your former classmates as not all receive
these e-mails. Donations to help with the dinner expenses and a
scholarship in her honor may be sent to the Chamber. Please make
checks to the Chamber and place on the note line Patrick Henry
Dinner.
Chamber Day at the
Races
May 20 Chamber
Day at the Races on Millionaire’s Row with lunch, and program
and trophy presentation sponsored by Dairy Queen. Reservations
are being taken now if you wish to attend. ($40 a person)
